Poole Town FC Partner With Poole Foodbank to Help Tackle Food Poverty
Poole Foodbank+ have formed a new partnership with Poole Town FC in order to help tackle food poverty together. Poole Town FC kicked things off by dedicating a match to the town’s Foodbank and asked match supporters to bring food items to donate to help with seasonal stocks over the winter period, which they did in great style! Ridgewater Energy Donate to the Homelessness Project in Ongoing Partnership
A huge thank you to Ridgewater Energy Ltd for their generous donation to the homelessness winter rucksack appeal - and thank you to Peter Bywater, Managing Director, for personally delivering their donation of thermal tops, merino wool socks, toiletries and crossword/puzzle books - these items will help equip wellbeing rucksacks for those moving on from sleeping on the streets.

Christchurch Foodbank Issue Urgent Food Appeal Following Theft from Food Store
Christchurch Foodbank+ have put out an urgent food appeal following a robbery from their food store. The incident happened over the weekend when Tracy Blick, Manager, discovered all the Christmas stock from The Store had been stolen. The news came just days after the Foodbank had pre-cooked 100 Christmas dinners ready for delivery over the festive period. Tracy said:

The Archbishop of Canterbury Visits Faithworks Barista Project
We were honoured to have The Archbishop of Canterbury visit Faithworks as part of his tour of projects and churches in the Diocese of Winchester. Justin Welby visited The Barista Project, run in partnership with St Andrew’s Church, Charminster, to find out how our training programme is creating fresh opportunities for those overcoming homelessness, addiction and other life challenges.

50 church and charity leaders from across BCP and wider Dorset united to explore how, together, we can strengthen our local communities.
