Call us to arrange a time-out at Half-time
Half-time is a service which provides one to one support, advice and access to practical help such as phone charging, lockers, hot showers, snacks and the opportunity to talk through issues (depending on location).
The service is for those who are sleeping rough or homeless and on the streets, and can be accessed by a call to our helpline or by meeting the team at locations across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. We will take time to listen to you.
We want to see an end to all forms of homelessness. We want people to not just find a roof over their heads, but a secure home and community where they can start to live life to the full.
We developed Faithworks Arch in response to this – we provide connection, support, purposeful activities and training to support people on their journey from crisis to resilience – find out more below.
We are also a founder member of the Homelessness Partnership BCP – find out more on their site below.

The Storehouse
When people move out of emergency accommodation, their new home is often empty. Providing simple, but quality pre-loved furniture and basic cooking facilities brings life and hope rather than despair and relapse.
Our Storehouse collects good quality furniture and delivers it to those referred to us by BCP Council or other partners.
We also provide new white goods such as microwaves, kitchen packs and fridges, so that food can be cooked and stored.
We need donations of beds, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, dining tables and chairs, coffee tables, TV stands, sofas and armchairs – find out more about how to donate furniture below.
Hope into Action homes
People don’t just need shelter; they need a home: a place of safety, a place for friendship.
We partner with Hope into Action to provide homes for those escaping homelessness using Hope into Action’s highly successful and unique model. Local investors buy a property which is leased to Faithworks. We then work alongside local church teams to enable individuals or families to settle in, build friendships and find confidence for the future.
We have three homes but are aiming for twenty! These homes make a huge difference – the family who moved into our second home, had been in bed and breakfast for two years: now one of the children has built enough confidence to do a mini piano recital in the nearby church!
