From volunteering to donating furniture we want to hear from you
From volunteering to donating good quality furniture we want to hear from you. There are many ways you can get involved, from donating money or items, giving your time or fundraising to support a particular project.
Volunteer
From people based roles to being behind the scenes. We love to find something that makes the most of your skills and experience.
We have a wide variety of roles from budget coaches to delivery drivers, carpenters workshop assistants to garden team volunteers and more!
Only you can offer your unique gift of personality, skills and experience. If you would like to make a difference by volunteering we would love to hear from you.
Invest in Hope
People don’t just need shelter; they need a home: a place of safety, a place for friendship.
Faithworks is partnering with Hope into Action (HIA) to provide homes for those escaping homelessness using HIA’s highly successful and unique model: local investors buy a property and then lease it to Faithworks; we work alongside a local church’s “Community & Friendship team” to help individuals or families settle in, build friendships and find confidence for the future.
Contact us for more details on how to invest or support a home as a church.
Donate Furniture & Personal Items
Home Equip is run by Christchurch Food Bank+ and distributes furniture to individuals or families moving into void or empty homes.
The Faithworks Storehouse in Bournemouth provides donated starter packs of furniture and household items to help transform a ‘place to live’ into a home.
Those moving on from street homelessness often have nothing including personal hygiene items, especially toiletries, new underwear and socks. You can find out more about donating items below.
A weekly lottery that supports local causes. The great news is you get to choose where your money goes – so now you can donate to Faithworks and have the chance of winning your money back and more! Buy your tickets and support Faithworks at the same time below.
For more information on why Faithworks has chosen to participate in the lottery see our statement on our use of lottery funding.
