If your role involves any heavy lifting, food preparation or dealing with finances (CMA team), specific training will be provided. There is no charge for any of the training.

What does the process entail?2023-07-18T10:24:47+01:00

We require all volunteers to go through a seven-step “safe recruiting” programme that includes: a taster session, completing an application form, two references, DBS check (a requirement for most projects), attending training and regular ongoing training events, signing a volunteer agreement and approval by our Business Support Manager.

What are the next steps?2023-07-18T10:26:15+01:00

Once you’ve filled out the contact form below, our volunteer coordinator will be in touch to organise a taster session with you. This will allow you to view the project and find out more about it. A Risk Assessment may be completed for these.
