Alistair Flies off to Complete the Great North Run!

What an exciting 20th anniversary it’s been so far! With 120 guests joining us on Bournemouth Pier for a celebration breakfast in June, our great cake giveaway and now our CEO is in a flap as he dons a flamingo costume to clock up his 19th and 20th half-marathons with the Great North Run and Bournemouth Half Marathon!  All for our FW20/20 big fundraising campaign.

Alistair isn’t the only one flying around raising money for our incredible projects – a huge thanks to Iain for his boxing fundraiser, Sarah (our Trustee) who swam the Bantham Swoosh and Roger who has just jetted off to Africa to cycle from Zambia to Zimbabwe all in an effort to raise much needed funds for Faithworks.

The Great North Run, Sunday 8 September: Alistair is raising money to enable more Food Bank visitors to access debt advice, expand our homelessness provision for those moving off the streets and to help develop our barista and carpentry trainee programmes.
