What is Half-time? Support for those rough sleeping
Our Half-time service provides practical support and advice for those who are homeless and sleeping on the streets. Half-time is provided at sites across BCP including at St Mike’s Church, Poole Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5QU. The service includes: one-to-one appointments and advice, hot showers, laundry facilities, lockers, phone charging, and hot drinks and snacks. We work closely with our
The Archbishop of Canterbury Visits Faithworks Barista Project
We were honoured to have The Archbishop of Canterbury visit Faithworks as part of his tour of projects and churches in the Diocese of Winchester. Justin Welby visited The Barista Project, run in partnership with St Andrew’s Church, Charminster, to find out how our training programme is creating fresh opportunities for those overcoming homelessness, addiction and other life challenges.
Second Community and Mission Conversation
50 church and charity leaders from across BCP and wider Dorset united to explore how, together, we can strengthen our local communities.
