Help Us Restock the Storehouse

Imagine living in a B&B; it’s better than sleeping on the streets, and it is a little less isolated. However, it is not the same as having your own home.

When more secure accommodation is found, it can still be a very bare space and feel very impersonal, this can impact on self-worth and motivation to keep moving forward. These are the circumstances of many who are referred to our Storehouse as they move on from homelessness.

Imagine the joy of seeing the Faithworks’ Storehouse team deliver a bed, table, chairs, a sofa, wardrobe, cutlery, crockery, and, if needed, a microwave and fridge.  You can start to settle in to your new property and finally feel like you have a home.

That is the difference that The Storehouse can make. The difference we have made to over 150 people in the last year.

We need your help – we need more donations of good quality furniture.

Mikey and the team deliver a weekly average of 3-4 furniture packs to those moving on from homelessness into their own homes.  To restock The Storehouse, we urgently need:

• Good quality beds,
• Mattresses,
• Chest of drawers,
• Two person sofas
