Ridgewater Energy Donate to the Homelessness Project in Ongoing Partnership
A huge thank you to Ridgewater Energy Ltd for their generous donation to the homelessness winter rucksack appeal – and thank you to Peter Bywater, Managing Director, for personally delivering their donation of thermal tops, merino wool socks, toiletries and crossword/puzzle books – these items will help equip wellbeing rucksacks for those moving on from sleeping on the streets.
David Chidwick, Faithworks Homelessness Services Lead, explained:
“These rucksacks are designed for those moving off the streets, either through our SafeSleep scheme or when SWEP* is activated during extreme weather conditions.
Each rucksack contains essentials but also items intended to show love and care.”
Ridgewater Energy design, develop and deliver fuel poverty projects as well as advising householders on saving energy in the home.
Peter Bywater, Managing Director, said:
“Ridgewater Energy are proud to be partnering with Faithworks, a great local charity and doing a lot of valuable work. We are going to be working together a lot more in 2025 to assist all of our clients with any help, support and signposting that can benefit them out in the community.”
This is the start of a new and exciting partnership as we seek to combine our strengths to better support people with practical solutions around housing issues across all Faithworks projects.

*SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) is activated during extreme cold, wind or dangerous conditions – we work with the local authority and churches to provide safe indoor spaces, during these conditions, for those sleeping on the streets.
